A few notes of interest...not much detail to tell, but well worth mentioning - Nickelback - yesterday (06/19) our Creative Director, Lynda, headed out on a plane to Vancouver. Reason being? To be present for Nickelback's photoshoot this Friday (06/22). Yes, on their home turf in Vancouver, the band will be striking a pose for visuals in support of their upcoming release Silver Side Up. Daniel Moss will be taking the pics, whom coincidentally did Nickelback's The State photoshoot, along with Dry Kill Logic, Chimaira, and even Destiny's Child and Lauren Hill...among others... Ill Nino - currently on tour with labelmates Spineshank and Chimaira, they will be making good use of their upcoming day off this Monday (06/25). Between shows in Tucson on 06/24 and San Diego on 06/26, they will be shooting a video for "God Save Us", the lead track off their upcoming release titled Revolution...Revolucion (due out July 31). The shoot is to take place somewhere in Southern California, and Darren Doane is slated for the director duties. Doane is best known for his work with Snapcase, Blink 182, and Far, along with the cult indie film, "Godmoney". Dislocated Styles - Dislo too will be dealing with the video bug...They shoot a video for the track "Fire In The Hole" off their debut Pin The Tail On The Honkey (out now) this upcoming weekend (06/23). The scene of the crime will be in the LA area. Also, if you have yet to do so, check out the Dislo Diary on their official website, www.dislocatedstyles.com. The daily info that flies around that piece will keep you coming back for more... and last, but certainly not least, we resume with The New Faces Of Roadrunner. Chimaira - yes, it is Chimaira's turn to hit center stage as we examine the beginnings of 5 new Roadrunner acts...they have finished recording their Roadrunner debut, Pass Out Of Existence (due out 08/21), and are currently on tour with Spineshank and Ill Nino. Ever wonder how they got to where they are now? Check out this week's Wildcard - The New Faces Of Roadrunner, PART III, CHIMAIRA. And yes, you will find new photos and a couple tracks from their upcoming release... as always, more info to follow as it comes...
