Brad's the shit......finally someone says something intelligent. Real metal bands: Glass Casket, BTBAM, Into the Moat, Hate Eternal, etc.......not fucking basic music like Slipknot puts out. And Kiss wore face paint to have a gimmick way back....it's not cool and it doesn't work (well, unfotunately it does)....fuck Slipknot.....anyone who even thinks that anything other than the first couple albums is good, should go listen to any current rap music, because you have no fucking knowledge or decent taste in music. And all the other bands (except Meshuggah) on this list are fucking garbage. Hatebreed has always been a fucking bootleg new aged Biohazard.......

Brads got a point, Slipknot is for mall lovers and old men. If you wear chains on your pants that are 8 sizes too big slipknots cool. Impeding doom, Misery Signals and emmure re great but are the only thing i'd watch it for. Ive seen emmure three times in the last 5 months with a 4 coming next month and they get better every time. Though i wish the respect issue was as good as goodbye to the gallows but It's still a good album

Chance, let me guess, I am a "fag" because I put down your beloved Slipknot? I swear I laugh my balls off when these mall kids put on a Slipknot t-shirt and think they are a fan of the most hardcore metal motherfuckers on the planet. Got news for you...Slipknot aren't all that heavy. With preteens, teens and early 20 somethings, Slipknot is the equivilant of 30 or 40 somethings that still think Metallica is the heaviest thing going. Well, you are all wrong. Clown surely things Slipknot is the heaviest band out today, the cocky bastard. They might be the heaviest thing that Clear Channel Radio plays, but that is not saying much. The only reason Slipknot became so highly recognized in the first place is strickly because of a gimmick..masks. Not only that, but they think they need to "update" the looks of their masks with every album. To the masks, I say lame. As for Corey Taylor's new update.....hey, Jim Carrey called, he wants his mask back. Do you know what the following bands have in common?: Suffocation, Death, Diecide, Malevolent Creation, Exhorder, Obituary, Type O Negative and Disincarnate? These are just a few of the REAL metal bands that Roadrunner Records USED to sign before they started fagging out and started signing crap like Nickelback, CKY, Madina Lake and Airbourne, which are all VERY NOT METAL. And before some smartass says "they must suck and must not sold enough records because they aren't on the label anymore". To that I say, these are the types of bands that built Roadrunner up from absolutely nothing to a highly recognized independant label. Most Slipknot "fans" don't even know what metal is. So chance, before you start calling me a "fag" for ripping on Slipknot, why don't you get some real metal in your collection and then we will start talking shit, ok?
