You just pointed to the reason why Opeth isn't coming to North Carolina: Everyone there has their heads up Slipknot's mainstream ass and has never heard of Opeth. That means there's no market for their band there, and investing time and money to set up a show there would be pointless and a loss of money and resources.

WHY? why does everything skip indiana? i had to drive to chicago last year...and i'm going to have to again this year. the only thing we get is crappy nickleback, and the come like 12 times a year.
I agree...they should play Indianapolis or Fort Wayne at least. We do get some good shows but usually only once a year (Indianapolis Metalfest) and of course the killer local bands like MercyKill or The Gates of Slumber.
