In this business you meet 10 people a day, but there will never be anyone like him." Dez Fafara, COAL CHAMBER: "[Dave was] uniquely cool. He was one of the most down-to-earth guys ever. He used to come and bring me horror movies and we'd sit around. Just a good guy. A lot of times you meet musicians and they've got an ego. That guy had none." SPINESHANK: "We would like to send our deepest sympathy and condolences to the drowning pool family and the family of Dave Williams. we were shocked and very saddened to hear the horrible news of his untimely passing. although we didn't get to know him as well as we would have liked, we did have the pleasure of touring with him on Ozzfest 2001. he was one of the most gracious, fun loving, outgoing and talented people we had the pleasure of knowing. he will definitely be missed."
