Sepultura's latest offering, NATION, will be released THIS MONTH! MARCH 20th to be exact. DID YOU KNOW that there will be 2 versions of this album? They are the standard jewel box release AND the infamous Digi release. The jewel box release will be comprised of 15 tracks. The elusive Digi-pak release (which will be release in EUROPE ONLY), will be made of the same 15 tracks that are found on the jewel box version, plus 5 additional tracks (including a demo, 3 covers, and 1 live track). The make up of the 5 additional tracks found on the digi are as follows - "Bela Lugosi's Dead" - a cover of a track originally done by Bauhaus (one of the originators of goth rock). "Rise Above" - a cover of a track originally done by Black Flag (I presume that no introduction on this band is needed). "Revolt" (demo) - a demo from early in the NATION writing process. Note, this is actually a demo of the song "SAGA" (which will be track #9 on NATION). It has nothing in common with what will be track #2 on NATION, another song by the name of "Revolt". "Roots Bloody Roots" - LIVE! Recorded at a show during this past summer's Tattoo The Earth Festival. and last, but certainly NOT least... "Annihilation" - This is a cover of a song originally done by Crucufix. Here we go with the DID YOU KNOW...Did you know that ILL NINO vocalist Cristian Machado appears on this track? Well it's true! Cristian tells the following of the experience, "I've always been a huge fan of Sepultura. They were the grounds and influences for much of the music I listen to today, so I was very excited to be part of that project." The track "Annihilation" is about the struggle with arms and weaponry manufacturing and how it effects the nature of humanity. Cristian adds, "Growing up in South America, political conflicts and threats of violence is something I've always felt strongly about." NOW YOU KNOW!!!
