Ed Repka is one of the most famous painters in metal. He's done cover art for tons of great albums - probably the most famous are Megadeth's Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? and Rust in Peace, but he's also illustrated records by bands like Massacre, Venom, Nuclear Assault, Death, Atheist, the Circle Jerks and many more. And naturally, Roadrunner's hired him a time or two in the past.

Ed's going to be at Comic-Con in New York City this coming weekend, signing at the Little Punk People booth (booth #3319) on Saturday, October 13. And we thought we'd salute his talent with a gallery of five classic covers he did for Roadrunner albums by Defiance, Toxik and 3 Inches of Blood - plus his cover for Vio-Lence's Eternal Nightmare, since that was Robb Flynn and Phil Demmel's band before Machine Head was formed.
