Last night at the Beebop in Vosselaar, Belgium, Chimaira completed the last night of their headline tour run of Europe. That's 26 shows in 26 days. That's good shit. You know what they say, travel is the teacher (actually, we might have just made that up). So what did Chimaira learn over this past tour? Frontman Mark Hunter learned that, contrary to what he had previously thought, Scottish people do NOT wear kilts. In fact, when he inquired about this, someone yelled back at him with "Where is your cowboy hat?" Mark also learned that the band's new drummer Ricky is going to one day die of a heart attack from the amount of coffee and Red Bull he consumes. Word has it, at least 10 cups/cans of each on a daily basis. Chimaira will be spending tomorrow in London, then flying back to Cleveland (aka the London of Ohio) on Sunday...WHERE, by the way, they will be coming home victorious - once again awarded Best Metal Band in Cleveland's Free Times magazine. Congratulations. Chimaira will be hitting the road in the US starting March 11th, on a headline run, and then meeting up with Slipknot and Fear Factory come month's end for the Jager tour. for all upcoming Chimaira dates, check our TOUR section
