Ever wonder the current doings of Roadrunner Records in the UK? Sure ya have...and THAT, is why we have this following update. Happenings in the UK: 1 - Have you heard? Roadrunner Records UK (among other territories in Europe) will be releasing the latest Hatebreed album, The Rise Of Brutality. True. 2 - What else? They will also be releasing 40 Below Summer's The Mourning After CD on October 27th. 3 - All the bands are in place - Ill Nino, Chimaira, Spineshank - and tonight marks opening night for the 2003 European Roadrage tour. The tour will start and end in the UK, whilst hitting many other places in between. 4 - UK ONE-UPS U.S. - They will be releasing the To My Surprise and MTV2 Headbangers Ball Album debuts on Monday (10/06), one full day ahead of us here in the states. Hey, UK, you think yur better than us??? 5 - Now this really has nothing to do with the UK, it's just pretty damn cool in general: Last week, Murderdolls bassist Eric Graves was in LA, and playing guitar. Eric tells... "Taime Downe, singer of Faster Pussycat also promotes one of LA's most popular rock clubs, the Pretty Ugly Club, Wednesday nights at the Dragonfly...last week was his birthday party at the club....apparently Brent Muscat had other commitments so Taime, who has been a friend of mine since I moved to LA, called me to ask if I'd play guitar for a short performance of three new songs, and a cover of Betty Blowtorch's 'Shut Up And Fuck'... "I did learn 'Bathroom Wall,' but we didn't do it live... "It was really cool playing guitar again live, and I was excited to play in front of many of my friends who hadn't seen me play since I went off on tour over a year ago... and of course the Ghoul came out, as did Joey who brought along Paul from Slipknot. I spotted a few Murderdolls fans out there, too... the short set was over fast, and the drinking went on for much longer....." - Eric And with that, what more could we possibly say? Till next time from the UK...
