Young Army veteran and music fan Chris Bowser was involved in a horrific grenade attack while stationed overseas in Iraq, but overcame adversity to do some good for his fellow veterans and music fans by starting Heroes Meeting Heroes.

Writes Bowser, "I have realized that I can turn this "bad" situation, into a "great" situation. I have been reaching out to a bunch of my favorite people (celebs, musicians, etc). I started off doing this for just me, but I am now focusing on bringing veterans to every show I attend when possible."

His most recent venture with Heroes Meeting Heroes involved our very own Killswitch Engage:

Medically retired from the armed services, Bowser is currently in college studying music while continuing his work with Heroes Meeting Heroes. Read his extraordinary story here, and watch some videos from his experience at a  Killswitch Engage show below.
