Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach has put together a special Spotify playlist for us this week, containing some of his favorite songs, old and new. Here's what he had to say about it:

"I chose these bands and artists because I wanted to represent where I come from. I grew up listening to all kinds of music but in particular Hardcore, Punk Rock, Hip Hop and Reggae stuck out to me and stuck with me all these years. My tastes for some bands may change but a great deal of music I got into when I was a teenager still inspires and motivates me as a musician. I think a lot of what attracts me to these types of music is they are lifestyle genres, genres of music that encompass and embody a lifestyle. Each of these bands and genres of music are the musical make up to who I am in one way or another. I am a mutt and a musical lifer."
