As announced earlier today, Korn have been nominated for a Grammy in the 'Best Metal Performance' category with their song "Let the Guilt Go." Marking their 7th Grammy nomination to date, Korn are up against Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Lamb of God and Slayer in the genre's only category.
Commenting on the honor, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis checked in with Noisecreep, saying, "Our new album, 'Korn III: Remember Who You Are' really means a lot to us. It's a return to our roots. So the fact that the Grammy committee recognizes one of our favorite tracks from that album is an immense honor. And, to be nominated alongside Maiden — well, that makes it even more killer."
The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

"Best Metal Performance" nominees are as follows:

Iron Maiden - "El Dorado" (from The Final Frontier)
Korn - "Let The Guilt Go" (from Korn III: Remember Who You Are)
Lamb Of God - "In Your Words" (from Wrath)
Megadeth - "Sudden Death" (from Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock)
Slayer - "World Painted Blood" (from World Painted Blood)
