Yes, we can say it...not much groundbreaking news to report today (12/05). But looking around and thinking, it is uncanny who was, is, and will be coming to NYC. Check out the following: 36 Crazyfists - they were here in the office earlier this afternoon, main purpose to discuss the artwork of their upcoming release, Bitterness The Star. Did we mention they are playing CBGB's tonight? Of course we did. Expect a lot of Roadrunner people to be there. Anyone - Static (bass) and Riz (guitar/vocals) were in Germany today doing some press interviews after their shows in the UK this past weekend. They are flying back to the states imminently. In fact, they will be arriving in NYC on Thursday afternoon to get things ready for an intimate show on Friday. Dry Kill Logic - you read Dave's (bass) LIFE ON THE ROAD WITH DRY KILL LOGIC - PT II piece in yesterday's news, yes? Well, he is currently at home upstate after the band's most recent touring stint with Kittie and Ill Nino. He dropped a line today saying he will be stopping by the office next week to follow up that piece with some new pics. Nickelback - they were here this past Friday (11/30), playing a show at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom. After a show in Boston over the weekend, they were back in NYC on Sunday for an appearance on MTV's TRL on Monday. Where are they now? Somewhere on the way to Florida. They are playing the House Of Blues in Lake Buena Vista tomorrow night. Sinch - They are back in our art department as this is being written - talking packaging for their yet to be titled debut, along with going over proofs from their photoshoot last week. Hey, and they will be at the 36 Crazyfists' show tonight...their A&R Rep emphatically states "oh hell yeah!" It's true. and of course...Type O Negative. They are 'on parole' in Brooklyn and Staten Island...
