Whether it's a simple guest appearance or a full-fledged Rick Springfield-style pivotal role is unknown, but Season 4 of Showtime's hit comedy-drama Californication will definitely include Methods of Mayhem mainman/ Motley Crue skinsman Tommy Lee playing himself!
Kicking off January 9th, 2011, tune in to see the prolific drummer-turned-frontman leave his mark on the show. Regarding the upcoming episode in which we meet Lee, E! Methods of Mayhem have released their long-awaited sophomore album A Public Disservice Announcement earlier this season. Featuring hand-selected samples from musicians and fans from all over the world, the record was a game-changing collaborative effort.
In a recent interview, Lee explained, "...There's a lot of talented people out there. And as well, what a thing to give back. I can't tell you the enormous amount of emails I've had and they all said thank you for the most insane opportunity. I didn't realise until I got feedback that I gave somebody this experience. To me that feels good."
