On his blog on MySpace, Dream Theater drummer and all around music head Mike Portnoy has unveiled his list of the Top 10 Albums of the Decade, and the choices don't surprise as much as they intrigue:

9. Lamb Of God - Ashes Of The Wake
10. Peter Gabriel - Up

Says Portnoy, "A special mention must be made declaring Opeth as my "Band of the Decade" as I could have easily listed Deliverance, Damnation, Ghost Reveries and Watershed all in my top 10 as well, but I had a self-imposed rule of only one album per band."
