As you know, due to a transportation break down, Chimaira recently had to cancel their show in Tulsa. Apologies, but for you Tulsa-ites, Chimaira tells "we are going to make it up to our fans and we will most likely do it soon." Keep checking back. The last two dates in April saw Chimaira, along with 36 Crazyfists and Diecast, play in (don't mess with) Texas. Word from Chimaira vocalist Mark Hunter is that the shows "were amazing, as usual." There is something about Texas... Anyway, what else has been happening whilst on the road...36 Crazyfists vocalist Brock and dj from Hemlock recently celebrated birthdays. A "drunken rage" was in order. Along with Chimaira, the bands hit up the riverwalk in San Antonio. After that, "it is a mystery as to how we got home, or even what we did, for that matter." Rock. ...what else...Whilst in Texas, the band met Vinnie Paul (Pantera) at the clubhouse, if ya know what we mean. By the way, if you have the chance, check out the ASK VINNIE feature in each issue of Revolver magazine...Vinnie is well wise beyond his years. Currently, or at least as of the early hours of May 2nd, Chimaira was stranded somewhere in Alabama...due to another one of them transportation break downs. Outside of that, Mark relays, "all in all the tour has been great, and we are stoked about the next month of shows."
