Well, the wacky world of touring...sit back and read as we present the latest changes on Slipknot's Pledge Of Allegiance Tour: Venue Change - on October 18th, this tour was originally scheduled to hit Buffalo, NY at the HSBC Arena. Well, the show on that date will now be played in the famed city of Wilkes-Barre, PA. Details are as follows - 10/18 - Wilkes-Barre, PA - First Union Arena Show Canceled - with greatest regrets, we inform you that tomorrow night's (10/03) show in Phoenix, AZ at the America West Arena has been canceled. Now, much like a 'hot chick' (or 'guy' for you female readers) breaking up with you, it is now time to say "it's not your fault...it was nothing you did...there is nothing you could have done differently to make it right...I still love you..." Of course, the words don't make you feel better...but hopefully they brought a smile to your face. The Phoenix date will NOT be rescheduled. Show Update - on the lighter side of news, we are now going to make like the 'hot chick' (or 'guy' for the female readers) above and remind you about all the good times we had...yes, we are going to reminisce over the past...reminisce over this past Saturday's (09/29) show at The Forum in California to be exact. 'Word' coming down from our Roadrunner family in LA as well as the good folks at Shoutweb is as follows: 'word' has it that in addition to all of YOU in attendance, so were members from the Foo Fighters, Deftones, Amen, Powerman 5000, Static X and Limp Bizkit, plus actress Alicia Silverstone (hot chick? indeed...at least most of the time...). Anyone else see them? 'word' also has it that Slipknot paused during the set with a moment of silence for the Sept 11th tragedies. At one point an American flag was waving over the 'pit' section...Corey asked for it to be brought to the stage, where he then wrapped himself in the American flag. Oh, and Corey asked fans to stop hate crimes against fellow Americans and to watch each other's backs. AND, 'word' has it that some of YOU rushed the barricades during the show. Think yer tough don't ya? (just kidding, that's cool) Lastly, we tell you that Slipknot continues to get the crowd down on hands & knees during 'Spit It Out'. What will happen next?
