We already told you that Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci has been nominated in the "Virtuoso" category at the first-ever Progressive Music Awards, created and hosted by Prog Rock magazine. But many other Roadrunner artists are also up for trophies at this event, scheduled to be held in London on September 5.

In the "Live Event" category, intended to honor "the band or act who put on the greatest show on earth this year," Opeth are nominated for their show at London's Brixton Academy, as is Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree and Storm Corrosion, for his solo concert at Shepherd's Bush Empire.

In the "Album of the Year" category, Nightwish, Opeth, Rush, and Storm Corrosion are all nominated!

And finally, both Mikael Åkerfeldt and Steven Wilson are nominated in the "Guiding Light" category, intended to honor "the men and women who keep pushing boundaries, keep prog in the public eye and continue to inspire the young artists just setting out on their own paths."

Good luck to everyone!
