Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer was interviewed by RockMusicStar.com, and says the band is "in writing mode" for a new album to be released in 2012.

He recalls being pleasantly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive response to the band's last album, 2010's Infestation, saying, "We were just individually writing and collectively taking each other's songs, and then putting our own individuality into our own songs. And they just came out sounding like a record that would have fit in between Out of the Cellar and Invasion of Your Privacy, respectively. It was a trip to see how everyone gravitated towards that record."

In the piece, Blotzer also talks about some of his other projects, including Ratt-themed wine and music he's made outside the context of Ratt. Read the whole thing at this link.
