The first annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Tour kicked off on August 17th, and the nearly two-month-long trek featuring Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Halestorm, Hellyeah, Airbourne, Hail the Villain and more has been making its way across North America. Stopping in Chicago last week, it was Aussie rockers Airbourne who left a big impression.
Writes thedeadhub.com, "This was the first time I have experienced Airbourne and boy was I in for a treat. It’s not every day that the frontman jumps from the stage with guitar in hand and crowd surfs. Yes, Mr. O’Keeffe did just that and the crowd ate it up! Airbourne’s stage presence was top notch and they definitely stole the 'Best Stage Presence' award of the day."
Meanwhile The Sound Alarm caught the band on an earlier show in the trek, contending, "Their head banging set could only be described with one word. Crazy. During their set the entire band would get into synchronized head bangs, where their long hair would spin and thrash wildly. Overall it was an enjoyable set that reminded me of an older generation of rock."
Take The Dead Hub's word for it, and "Don’t be late for Airbourne when the UPROAR Tour hits your town!" A full list of tour dates can be found here.
