As written earlier on this site (PRE-PROD STARTS TODAY - 3.1.2001), Machine Head are to hit the studio starting March 15th. Well, in what seems to be somewhat of a rare instance, that date has held true! Tomorrow (03/15), Machine Head and producer Johnny K hit Mad Dog Studios in LA to start laying down the basic tracks (drums, bass, some rhythm guitars) to their upcoming SUPERCHARGER LP. From what I am told, the band will spend two weeks at Mad Dog Studios before heading to the Indigo Ranch in Malibu for overdubs (vocals, guitars). Godspeed gentlemen...Godspeed.
