Kicking off at Los Angeles' Gibson Amiptheater on September 30th, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper and Murderdolls hit the road on The Halloween Hootenanny Tour. While the horror-fueled trek makes it's way across the States, Noisecreep recalls the first evening of this "early Halloween gala" as "a hell of a lot of fun."
Following the Gruesome Twosome Tour which featured Zombie and Cooper together for the first time earlier this year, Halloween Hootenanny boasts the two macabre acts hitting different markets while bringing what Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee Alice Cooper has described as "our show is a little more vaudeville, and his show is sort of like a tattoo parlor come to life."
And speaking of his recent nomination, tour mate and close friend Rob Zombie shared his excitement for Cooper from stage in LA. Noisecreep sets the scene, writing, "Near the end of his own 75-minute set, Zombie said of Cooper, 'He finally got himself nominated to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, finally -- finally.' He led the Gibson crowd in celebration with a raucous cover of Cooper's seminal 'School's Out' as confetti fell from the roof."
