Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush were interviewed on the Canadian radio show Studio Q, and the full conversation is now online. It's a nearly 35-minute interview, so I'm not going to attempt to summarize it. But they talk about how Rush's critical and pop-cultural status has grown in recent years; the Governor-General's Medals they received at the beginning of this year; and more. Most importantly, Geddy talks about how the band has grown and improved in recent years, citing the song "The Garden" from Clockwork Angels in particular as something they couldn't have done years ago. Both he and Alex say they feel more confident now than they were in the '80s.
