Slipknot has announced they’ll broadcast their final live performance of 2012, at Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset, WI/Minneapolis, MN, worldwide via pay-per-view, during the group’s first-ever KnotFest, an extraordinary two-date/two-state metal and hard rock festival. The KnotFest pay-per-view event is a partnership between Todocast and Event View Live. The official broadcast site will launch today, July 11 at EventViewLive.com.

"One of our longtime dreams is finally coming to fruition with the creation of KnotFest," says M. Shawn Crahan, aka Clown of Slipknot. "Our goal was to create a festival experience which screamed our vision. It means everything for everyone to see the live spectacle we’re creating in the flesh, but we understand some fans around the world can’t be at the show. We've now made it possible for you to be there in spirit - so join us live on August 18."

Guaranteed to make your blood pump and your ears bleed, Slipknot's powerful and sinister final performance of the year will be emanating from your computer screen in streaming bandwidth.
