So, another year of the Summer Ozzfest tour has come and gone...(speaking of which, tell us about your favorite memory from this most recent Ozzfest on this week's FORUM) Roadrunner was represented on Ozzfest 2001 by Slipknot and Spineshank. So with the tour over, what are they up to now? Spineshank - They are currently on a tour bus somewhere driving back to California from NY (scene of the last Ozzfest show), where they will chill out for about a week before heading to Europe for the first time ever to play some shows. Spineshank currently has 13 dates scheduled (starting 08/24 and ending 09/08), a mix of festivals and club shows. See Spineshank's TOUR DATES for full details. After Europe it is back to California to enjoy a well deserved rest after being on the road for 11 months straight. 227 US tour dates racked up in that time to be exact, playing with the likes of Slipknot, Disturbed, (hed)pe, Type O Negative, Mudvayne, Union Underground, Fear Factory, Orgy, and Ozzfest, among many others...not to mention headline dates. Of course, they plan to start writing songs immediately for their next release...for which word has it, they have "a bunch of licks written already". REMEMBER, the collectors edition digi release of Spineshank's The Height Of Callousness comes out September 25th (new packaging, 2 videos, plus 4 extra tracks). Slipknot - They are currently back at home in Iowa for a quick break. A very quick break, as they will be heading to Japan shortly for a couple shows (08/18 & 08/19). Then, it is back to the US for a co-headlining tour with System Of A Down, titled the Pledge Of Allegiance tour. This tour starts September 14th in Illinois, and is slated to finish on Halloween night in New York. And of course, the much anticipated IOWA hits the streets on August 28th (just 2 weeks away).
