Slipknot is confirmed to play the Carling Weekend, August Bank Holiday weekend (August 23-26). The band will play at both Reading (Sunday) & Leeds (Friday) sites. Other acts appearing over the weekend include: the Strokes, Pulp, Weezer, White Stripes, Guns N Roses (really?), Incubus, Offspring, Prodigy, Jane's Addiction, Foo Fighters, Muse, Ash, Sum 41, NOFX, and Andrew WK, with further special guests to be announced. Word is tickets are priced 90 pounds for the whole weekend, which includes camping and parking. Day tickets are 39 pounds. Of course, there will be a booking fee on top. Soulfly: SOULFLY CONFIRM "LOST WEEKEND". Soulfly has confirmed a one-off UK date to follow the release of their upcoming 3rd album, 3 (released June 25th).
