Some Notes Of Interest From The Studio This Week: 36 Crazyfists - all songs have been mixed. However, this is not to say that mixing is complete, as there are some final touch ups that are still to be done. Though The Production Gospel According To Dave could not confirm the exact number of tracks, the estimate stands somewhere between 12 and 14. NOW, if you have yet to do so, you are under direct orders to go and download the only MP3 we posted from these mixes - the "Turns To Ashes" download can be found in our MUSIC section (note - as told above, this is not the final, final version). Coal Chamber - true to our word, the mixing of their upcoming release Dark Days commenced this past Monday (10/01). There is an excitement in the air about what is going on here. The following quotes have all been taken from The Production Gospel According To Dave: The music - "it's ungodly heavy"...Dez's vocals - "Incredible. He sang his fuckin ass off, seriously"...Guitar sound - it has been summed up in one word, "GIANT". Oh, and that "It will flatten you. It will." stay tuned... Five Pointe O - all that is left is to finish up some vocal tracks, which is going on right now. Figure a couple more days. Mixing is to start sometime next week (w/o 10/08) - Two members will be staying in Texas for the mixing, while the rest will be making the trip back to Chi-Town. Sinch - they are still in Nashville, and the cavalry has arrived, as their manager and Roadrunner A&R Rep are down South and in their company. Reason? The mixes are happening. In fact, they are basically on the verge of finishing. Word is that mixing WILL be complete come next Friday (10/12). Oh, and speaking of next Friday, check back for a special treat from Sinch then... This is The Production Gospel According to Dave...Phase II is upon us...you have been warned...resistance is futile...
