some current notes of interest from the this week: 36 Crazyfists - currently being mastered is the Japanese release of Bitterness The Star. What makes this master different from the US version? One extra track, "Crutch". Which, by the way, happens to be the only b-side from the recording sessions. Bitterness The Star in stores April 2nd. Dry Kill Logic - currently doing demos with the boys at Scrap 60 Productions. Fear Factory - more news about our business in Japan...Digital Connectivity is being readied for Japan, in the sense that Japanese subtitles are being added to this beast. Should be released sometime in March. Ill Nino - whilst not on the road, always busy in the studio. This last break from the road, between playing in Japan and heading out to the Jager tour, they finished up a b-side from the Revolution...Revolucion recordings - a track titled "Fallen". Basically, vocals were what was missing from the track. "Fallen", along with 5 live tracks from the UK show in Brixton, are currently being mixed. Also, Spanish versions of "Unreal" and "What Comes Around" were recorded. Did You Know? The Spanish versions of the above mentioned songs do not rhyme. It's true. Jerry Cantrell - advance copies of his Roadrunner debut, Degredation Trip, are floating around. 14 songs in total. Rock. Final mastering of this work is still happening. A June release is currently being eyed. Killswitch Engage - Adam returned back from the mix sessions in the UK with Andy Sneap on Monday (02/25). Sneap is now working solo, doing a few final tweaks on the mixes, and then mastering. Nickelback - about an hour & a half of live concert footage from their Edmonton show is in house, including the band jamming out on the Alice In Chains classic "It Ain't Like That" with Jerry Cantrell. Pure Brilliance. During his first screening of this footage, Dave can be quoted saying, "I've been watching for an hour, but it seems like five minutes." This footage will appear on an upcoming Nickelback dvd. Rumblefish - Roadrunner's latest signing is currently rehearsing in LA. Slipknot - what can we say? New video for "My Plague" is basically complete. DVD in the works. New abuse mix of "My Plague" coming out March 12th on Resident Evil soundtrack. And finally, a new website coming to boot...
