A few notes of interest from the studio this week - 36 CRAZYFISTS - as reported earlier, Scrap 60 Productions (Dry Kill Logic) will be producing the 36 Crazyfists' debut. What we now have is a start date. Pre-production on this project is to start April 21st in New York. On a side note, how does vocalist Brock feel about singing on the new Skinlab record? “…totally stoked and honored.” ANYONE - when we last spoke of a studio update from Anyone, it was written that the final master on this project would possibly be cut this past Friday (03/30). Well, that did not happen. So would you believe this upcoming Tuesday (04/10)? That is the current date scheduled to have the final master cut. DEICIDE - still on schedule, still on schedule. Satan's soldiers will be hitting Morrisound Studios in Tampa Bay, Florida starting Monday (04/09). DRY KILL LOGIC (formerly known as Hinge) - mastering of The Darker Side Of Nonsense took place last night (04/03) here in NYC at Sterling Sound. That should be a wrap on the recording of this LP. MACHINE HEAD - currently at Indigo Ranch Studios in Malibu. Word coming from all possible sources is that things are going great. SINCH - a producer has been lined up for their Roadrunner debut effort – Malcolm Springer (Full Devil Jacket). Also enlisted for this project is Walter Schreifels, legendary front man of Quicksand. The band is expected to start pre-production with Walter in Philadelphia sometime within the next couple weeks. SLIPKNOT - mixing of their yet to be titled upcoming release commenced yesterday (04/03). This is the word of Dave. Phase II is upon us...you have been warned...resistance is futile...
