Some notes of interest from the studio this week: 36 Crazyfists - Scrap 60 Productions will be handling the mixing for this project. Mixing is scheduled to commence next week at Red Clay Studios in Suffern, NY, most likely on July 9th. Coal Chamber - Dez and Meegs are currently out at Rumbo Studios in Cali laying down the vocals and guitars to their upcoming release, Dark Days (drum and bass tracks already completed). No absolute schedule on completion date. More details to follow soon. Glassjaw - Current expectations are for them to hit the studio with producer Ross Robinson come sometime in mid to late August. Recording will most likely take place somewhere in LA. Machine Head - Currently mixing their upcoming release, Supercharger. Mixing should be done come July 9th, which is actually when mixer Colin Richardson will be heading back to England. Mastering for this project is scheduled for July 12th @ Sterling Sound in NYC. Nickelback - their forthcoming Silver Side Up was mastered yesterday...which means, it recording process is fully complete. As Dave tells, the recording of this effort was "as smooth as you could get." Slipknot - the mastering of IOWA is complete. All that is left to do on the recording side is sequence the recording. Dave adds, "I can assure you that we are moving as quickly as possible." One last warning from Dave, "The current phase of this production operation is nearing completion."
