Opeth guitarist Fredrik Åkesson was interviewed by MetalFanzine.net when the band played Baltimore, at the tail end of their tour in support of their latest CD, Heritage. Fredrik discusses his favorite Heritage tracks, his early influences on guitar (including Ace Frehley, Angus Young, Michael Schenker and Yngwie Malmsteen), working in a factory as a teenager to afford to buy himself an amplifier, and much more.
