Opeth's latest studio album, Heritage, is a major departure for the band, leaving behind the death growls and savagely heavy riffing that have been among their sonic trademarks for most of their career, in favor of a more complex, rhythmically supple and progressive sound. This has left many fans somewhat surprised and confused. Well, frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt is here to explain it all for you.

In this video (the second in a three-part series; you can see Part 1 here), he takes you through Heritage's fourth, fifth and sixth tracks: "Slither," "Nepenthe" and "Häxprocess." One of these is his favorite song on the album - watch the clip to find out which one!
