It appears that no one has made a comment on this since May, but my commment is not really specifically about just this song and this group: it's about the importance of ethics leading to karma. I don't know how many people have offered to burn me CDs or DVDs or advised me to purchase an MP3 player and go on the free websites and take what I want. Just because "everybody" does it, does not make it right. It's stealing plain and simple. The artists deserve their cut. Now doing unethical things does not always come back and bite you in the behind right away, but it will eventually get you in one way or another. Think about it. Do you realize how much work, practice and study goes into performing? I know, I know, they are rich already. They aren't going to miss what you are taking from them. That's not the point. Look what Roadrunner Records and Nickelback are doing for you here. You can come anytime and watch their previous videos all you want--if you have a computer, of course (and they now have computers that have internet access at every library, which is where I understand some of you have told me you go to the free sites to load up). But for you to be stealing cuts off of "Dark Horse" is simply unexcusable when you can purchase the cuts for next to nothing on the paying websites or purchase guaranted used CDs from a reputable music store (although I think the store itself only makes money on those--in an ideal world, bands should get a cut everytime some of their work is sold). It is not my intention to be "holier than thou" here. But one of my favorite lyrists once said, "You better ask before you borrow." And I could cut it as a poor woman stealing successfully from stores for two and a half years. I just had to find out what the thrill was for Wynona Rider. Eventually, it came back to me in spades--even though I got up the courage and went back to the places I had stolen from and admitted my wrongdoing. I kept track of how much I stole, rounded the amount up; and someday I hope to pay it all back in kind and them some. I stopped because I realized what I was doing was criminal, amoral and unethical. At one point in his career, Larry King (CNN) was forced for file bankruptcy. But when he started making the big bucks again, even though he did not have to, he went and paid everyone back. What a man!

All I can say is this song is beautiful, also brings tears to my eyes!
