Thank you for recognizing In Flames, I was wondering if I was the only one hearing fantastic music... It's my number one this year, sooooo catchy I can't take it out of my car's CD player.

WOW!!! This made me realize how everybody has extremly diffrent taste. At Least someone reconized In Flames!!! I have it this way....
1.In Flames-A Sense Of Purpose- I thought this was by far the best album that came out in 08', It had everything, Melody, heavyness, soul. In my opinon there best work since "Reroute to Remain"
2.Trivium-Shogun
Wow!! Kudos to trivium for putting such an album. Best of both worlds. I loved "The Crusade" unlike alot of ppl but "Shogun was def. astep up from that.
3.Amon Amarth-Twilight Of The Thunder Gods...Viking Metal!!!! This album was so mealodic. Its a guitar players dream. Super Technical!!!
4.Bleeding Through-Declaration
This was the album that was suppose to come out instaed of "The Truth". This is what I was expecting from them. AWSOME!!
5.Metallica-Death Magnetic...This was def. a redeeming album. Way better then St. Anger. Not the old Metallica, but close enough. It seems as though they ranout of soul..
6.Opeth-Watershed....Brilliant!!
7.Unearth-The March...Although there was no real big signifacance about this album, Its an album I could listen to from the first track to the last track. I liked it better then "The Eyes Of Fire"
8.Light This City-Stormchaser... Nichole is a powerhouse!!! In my opinon a worthy farewell
9.All Shall perish-Awaken The Dreamers....What could I say, they delivered a powerful album, Very All Shall Perish..LOL!!
10. Slipknot-All Hope Is Gone... Although to me it seemed like Slipknot had died, I cant help but to put them On the top 10. I cant ignore the talent that this group has. This album is not my fav, but it is full of mealody and somewhat of a dark eye. Corey still has the magic in his writing, it captures you and you cant ignore its pull. So yea I had to put them on the top 10!!!
11.Machine Head-The Blackening Special Edition. That was just to good not to mention it.

Yours is the first of these lists that has listed In Rainbows. Metalheads or not, I would have figured that more people would have recognized the pure genius in the arrangements and rhythmic variety Radiohead put forth in their latest album. +1 Joel.
